Analog UV Light Sensor Breakout – GUVA-S12SD uses a UV photodiode, which can detect 240-370nm various light (of which UVB and UVA covers most of the spectrum). The signal level of the photodiode is very small, in the nano-ampere level. With an op-amp to amplify the signal to a more manageable volt level.
