APDS-9900 Environmental Sensor

Description

APDS-9900 Ambient Sensor measures ambient light and proximity up to 100mm. The proximity detection function works well from bright sunlight to dark rooms. The wide dynamic range also allows working at close range behind dark glass. In addition, there is the possibility to work in a power saving mode between ALS and proximity measurements with a very low average power consumption. The ALS provides a photopic response to light intensity in very low light or behind a dark faceplate.
