ATmega328 Arduino Optiboot. This is an ATmega328 IC in a DIP package, loaded with the Arduino Optiboot (Atmega328 16MHz) Bootloader. This allows you to use Arduino code in your custom project without having to use an actual Arduino board. To get this chip, you will need an external 16MHz crystal and a 5V power supply to create the minimal Arduino system.
