Description
Capacitive Touch HAT Raspberry Pi adds 12 capacitive touch sensors to your raspberry. Capacitive touch sensing works by detecting when a person (or animal) has touched one of the sensor electrodes. Capacitive touch sensing can be used for things like touch-reactive tablets and phones.
The HAT has 12 'figure 8' holes in it that can be connected with alligator clip wires. Attach one end of the clip to the HAT and the other end to something electrically conductive (like metal) or full of water (like vegetables or fruit!) Then run the Python library code to detect when the object is touched.
Works great with Raspberry Pi Model A+, B+, or Pi 2. This HAT can be used with either Model A or Model B, but no 2×13 pin header is included.
