Description

Capacitive Touch Shield Arduino MPR121 allows you to connect 12 capacitive touch sensors to an Arduino. Capacitive touch sensing works by detecting when a person (or animal) has touched one of the sensor electrodes. Capacitive touch sensing is used in tablets and phones, as well as control panels for equipment.

The shield has 12 figure 8 holes, where an alligator clip can be attached. Attach one side of the clip to the shield and the other side to something electrically conductive (like metal) or with water (like vegetables or fruit!). Works great with any Arduino it only uses the I2C pins (SCL & SDA).

Comes with pins that still need to be soldered.
