Description
Electronic dice LED kit 5V red. Build your own electronic dice with this educational kit. At the push of a button, this module simulates a realistic dice roll, displayed by 7 red LEDs. Ideal for electronics beginners, students, and hobbyists who want to learn soldering and understand digital circuits.
The circuit is based on the popular NE555 timer (pulse generator) and the CD4017 decimal counter. The NE555 generates pulses, while the CD4017 converts these pulses into LED outputs that simulate the dots on the dice. Thanks to the capacitors and transistor, a natural delay is created, making the effect feel very realistic.
Pressing the push button (S1) starts the LEDs to flash rapidly, just like rolling a real die. When you release the button, the flashing gradually slows down until one clear result (1–6) remains visible.
The print on the PCB shows where the components should go. The longest leg on the components is the + and the short leg is the -.
