Description
ESP8266 Breakout is an 80MHz microcontroller with full WiFi functionality, as a client and access point, a TCP/IP stack that also supports DNS. This low cost chip is now easy to use with this breakout.
ESP8266 Breakout features:
– Reset button
– User button
– Red LED
– Level shifting on the UART and reset pin,
– 3.3V out, 500mA regulator
– 2 diode protected power supply inputs
– breadboard friendly breakouts
ESP8266 Breakout pins:
1 x Analog input (1.8V max)
9 x GPIO (3.3V logic), also for I2C or SPI
2 x UART pins
2 x 3-12V power inputs, reset, enable, LDO-disable, 3.3V output
FTDI pinout for connecting an FTDI or console cable to upload or debug software.
The module is loaded with the NodeMCU Lua interpreter so that commands and Lua programs can be run directly. This module can also be used with the Arduino IDE.
