Intelligent Follow Car D2-1. The DIY Smart Follow Robot Kit is an introductory electronic kit designed to help kids or electronics enthusiasts and beginners learn basic electronic knowledge such as soldering and simple circuits (photocell circuit, voltage comparator, motor controller, IR sensor, C51 MCU). The smart kit is designed based on the principle of infrared sensor and light reflection difference, when the light emitted on white and black items, the red LED emitting red light will reflect the light to the photoresistor, the circuit will change the resistance to detect whether the car is on the white area and automatically control the running direction. There is no programming involved and all soldering is beginner-friendly, making it perfect for beginning electronic enthusiasts.
Easy to make, we don't provide you with a manual, but instead we give you some assembly steps and diagrams.
Intelligent follow car steps:
1: Soldering the components, start with the resistors. The short pin of the capacitors and led is the min. Be careful that the temperature does not get too high with soldering. Especially with the led and photoresistors.
2. Mechanical assembly: Start by screwing the front support. Then stick the battery holder on the pcb and solder the wires. Then mount the wheels on the motor, fix them with a screw and then on the pcb. Solder the motor wires.
3. Install the photoresistor and the light emitting diode on the opposite side of the PCB, that is, on the bottom of the front of the car, keep the ground distance of about 5mm. The distance between the diodes is about 5mm.
