Bought this cable for my Arduino ProTrinket from AdaFruit, recommended! Take this cable and not a USB cable, so that you can also use the serial monitor of the Arduino IDE and when uploading the sketch everything goes automatically, as you are used to with a standard Arduino Uno. This cable also works perfectly with a Mac computer, drivers can be downloaded for free. The order of the cables in the plug did not match the ProTrinket, but you can solve this by loosening the cables by carefully pushing a needle under the plastic locking strips. Then you can easily swap them and push them back into the plug. You only need the cables 5v, gnd, rx, tx and rst (=reset) for the Trinket. Have Fun!

Bought a cable for my Protrinket. Can now use the serial monitor and uploading sketches is fully automatic. Tip: check if the order of the connections corresponds to your board. These are easy to change.
