Description
RFM95W LoRa Radio Transceiver 433 MHz very suitable for Arduino and other microcontrollers. For creating a sensor network or small amounts of data over a larger distance. This is the 433 MHz version. These are + 20dBm Lora packet radios, a special radio modulation that is not compatible with the RFM69s. This has a longer range. Up to 2 Km using simple wire antennas and a line of sight or up to 20Km with directional antennas.
RFM95W LoRa Radio Transceiver 433 MHz specifications:
– Packet radio with ready-to-go Arduino libraries
– Uses the license-free ISM band: “European ISM”
– Use a simple wire antenna or place for UFL or SMA radio connector
– SX1276 LoRa® based module with SPI interface
– 5-20 dBm up to 100 mW output power Capability (power adjustable in software)
– ~100mA peak during +20dBm transmit, ~30mA during active radio listening.
– Range of approx. 2 km, depending on obstacles, frequency, antenna and power
– All radios are sold separately and can only talk to radios of the same part number. E.g. RFM69 900 MHz can only talk to 900 MHz RFM69, Lora 433 MHz can only talk lora 433, etc.
– 3.3V voltage regulator and level shifter to use with 3V or 5V devices.
- Manual and libraries
